I got my park books order so I am going to bury my nose in them out in the 78 degree beautiful weather. The books are sketchbook and has some stories by Ebell that i hadnt read before. The judge Flandrue papers...also amazing and some great transcriptions by the Mn Gen Society. I saw something on the Belland/Jeffries family that I am going to go over and post later. These particular books were things I was after at the Mn Historical Society so saved me a trip.
My question on the Campbell family is if the Henry F Campbell and his mother Margaret Campbell are connected to the census. I am wondering if this family's Margaret is the Margaret on the McCloud census? The dates seem to fit, but the only clue I can see for now is that she is shown with a son named Samuel and I cant verify a Samuel in the papers the family has. That doesnt mean at all that there isnt one. I just dont see it from what I have been given. Who is this A D Campbell age 71 in 1891 showing in Sisseton Annuity rolls?

Wapate, I have acquired the document for Stephan and Isabella Wabashaw changing their last names to Blacksmith in 1885. It is called the REVISION OF INDIAN NAMES for LAND ALOTTMENT purposes and records keeping. On the document it states at the end: "His father was a Wabashaw and his wife's brother was a Blacksmith."
